Then Thad turned 14 on February 28th. He had a big party the weekend before with alot of friends. He had a good ole time. The house was full as we fed them all hot dogs and then Sid and Vic took them to the school field to play games like capture the flag, British bulldog and whiplash(you all hold hand and make a train, then run and move back and forth). Then they ate brownies and ice cream as he opened his presents. He was excited to get quite a bit of money! Then he had a family party on his Birthday. On Sunday March 6th He was ordained a teacher by his dad. It was real cool that Vic got to stand in because he was a priest. We are very proud of Thad's great decisions he has made thus far in life!
Sid on March 26th Sid went through the Snowflake, AZ temple for his endowment. What an exciting time for him! It is amazing how much Sid's testimony has grown this year through his hard work at studying for his mission. He got a letter from his mission Pres. and his wife telling him more about where he will be serving and more of what to expect. He will serve in the Sub mission of Vanuatu and learn the language of Bislama. He is excited about this and already had a feeling he would need to learn it.
Vic has been hanging in there with going to Seminary every weekday morning and coming home and working with dad, whenever there is work. It has been slow with work because of the weather, but is picking up now that everyone is in the spring cleaning mood. Vic and Sid tore down the old chicken coop to rebuild as a shed for tools and dad's fly tying stuff. He also has gotten his gas power remote control car running . He is so good at taking apart and putting together this car. Vic is well loved by his nieces, especially Saumalie.
Dad and mom are busy with their church callings and the family. Dad has been real busy with school and did real well with his last class(math). He got a week break before starting his next math class. We love all of you grown children and wish you the best in life. Love you all!
